The U.S. Congress has passed President Donald Trump's "big, beautiful law" after it was finally approved by the House of Representatives. No Democratic representative supported the law, and among Republicans everyone supported it except for three - the final result was 218 in favor versus 214 against. The law includes a major tax cut and additional funding for the Pentagon and immigration law enforcement, which will be financed by cuts to health, nutrition, education and clean energy programs. The law is expected to add about five trillion dollars to the U.S. national debt. Trump is expected to sign and approve the law tomorrow, on American Independence Day.
