Dozens of extreme ultra-Orthodox Jews are protesting outside the recruitment office in Tel Hashomer, where a special enlistment day is being held for deserters who wish to join the military in exchange for cancellation of arrest warrants against them. Some protesters called out that it is "better to enter Auschwitz than the army of destruction."
