The Israel Nature and Parks Authority spokesperson reported that a green guenon monkey was found in an agricultural area near Yavneel. The monkey was discovered by a local farmer, trapped inside a small and dirty cage. According to the Nature Authority, the monkey was transferred to the Israeli Monkey Sanctuary for further treatment and initial examinations. This is the 57th monkey found throughout the country since March.
