Britain's United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations agency reported that a tanker was hit by an 'unidentified munition' in the Persian Gulf last night, approximately 125 kilometers northeast of the port city of Jubail in eastern Saudi Arabia. According to the report, there were no casualties and all crew members were safely evacuated from the vessel. It was also noted that no environmental damage occurred.
