President Isaac Herzog spoke with the parents of hostage Aviatar David, Galia and Avishai, as well as with Meirav Gilboa Dalal, mother of hostage Guy Dalal. Herzog told the parents that "Aviatar, Guy and all the hostages are the children of all of us. The heart of our nation burns with worry and pain at the sight of these difficult images - we all feel deep shock and indescribable pain. This is a chilling reminder of what is happening in the depths of Hamas' terror tunnels - pure cruelty. We will not rest, we will not be quiet and we will not take our eyes off the goal - to see Aviatar, Guy and all the hostages return home safely. Hamas is conducting a cynical, ugly and criminal campaign that will not help them."
