Police and Shin Bet announced the arrest of five Jewish suspects on suspicion of involvement in violent activities against security forces. The five were arrested in a joint operation by the Shin Bet, Judea and Samaria Central Investigation Unit and Jerusalem Central Investigation Unit, and were transferred for interrogation. "The Israel Security Agency and Israel Police view these acts of terrorism as a serious threat to state security, and will continue to work to thwart and fully prosecute those responsible," the statement said.
