Netherlands: 'Putin must show commitment to lasting peace with Ukraine'

|
Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, who was supposed to visit Ukraine, wrote on X that "due to political developments in the Netherlands, I cannot be in Kyiv today." The Dutch leader spoke by phone with his Ukrainian counterpart and promised him that "the Netherlands will continue to support Ukraine. Putin must come to the negotiating table as soon as possible and show that he is committed to a sustainable peace and ending Russia's aggression against Ukraine. We will continue to work with our partners to develop security guarantees and prepare new sanctions against Russia."
