A 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on Herzl Street in Ashkelon. An axe was found at the scene, but at this stage it is unclear whether the boy was injured by it or by another weapon. Magen David Adom teams evacuated him to Barzilai Hospital in critical condition while unconscious, and his death was later pronounced. Another boy was lightly injured and was also evacuated from the scene. Police said a preliminary investigation indicates the background is apparently a criminal dispute between criminal elements.
