According to the police statement, Hadad was released to house arrest and the gun he used was seized. Police further reported that preliminary investigation indicates an argument erupted between the two "over road usage," during which Hadad - who claimed he felt threatened - drew his gun, cocked it and fired from inside the vehicle, with no injuries resulting. "At this stage, there is no suspicion of prior acquaintance between the two or suspicion of any other background," officials stated.
