The U.S. military's Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that its forces "successfully completed a 13th consecutive night of strikes against Iran at 9:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)." It was reported that the strikes targeted "Iranian military headquarters, drone storage facilities, communication networks, coastal surveillance sites and naval capabilities - to further reduce the threat Iran poses to civilian mariners and commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The international waterway remains open for passage despite attacks by Iran's Revolutionary Guards. Commercial vessels continue to sail freely in the strait with support from the U.S. military."
