IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir conducted a field tour and situation assessment in southern Lebanon with Northern Command chief Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo and additional commanders. The IDF chief told troops in the field: "We are at a historic crossroads and are operating according to a plan in an offensive manner to fundamentally change the security situation - from Tehran to Beirut. We have more significant plans for the continuation of the campaign. The northern communities are counting on you - continue to operate offensively and professionally and remove the threats from above the communities. I am counting on you."
