The Meteorological Service reported that flash floods have intensified in southern Israel over the past hour. Numerous streams are flowing from the Eilat area, through the Negev and up to the northern Arava and Dead Sea region. The rains and flash floods in the south are expected to intensify in the coming hours and continue until nighttime. Local rainfall is also expected in the coming hours in central Israel.
