The Jerusalem District Court convicted Shai Shtarit, a school bus driver, of committing sex offenses against a special education student and drug offenses. According to the indictment, about a year ago Shtarit picked up the girl, around 15 years old, and after dropping off other students drove her to his home and supplied her with the drug 'Doctor.' He then sexually assaulted her in his vehicle. The next day he again drove her to his home, supplied her with additional drugs, and after she felt dizzy and disoriented sexually assaulted her in the bedroom. In both instances he gave her 100 shekels before dropping her off at school. Shtarit was convicted of two counts of unlawful penetration, inducing a minor to use a dangerous drug and additional charges.
