IDF forces this week arrested three members of the Palestinian security apparatus who detained an armed reservist from Judea and Samaria who was on leave in Area C near Ramallah. Footage from the incident shows the Palestinian personnel next to the reservist's vehicle, identifying themselves as Palestinian police. According to Israel Gantz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, they also confiscated the reservist's weapon. An IDF spokesperson stated this was 'a severe overstepping of the security apparatus's authority, endangering the Israeli citizen's life and using aggressive and serious force against him.'
