Officials in Chile confirmed that the bodies of five copper miners trapped in the El Teniente mine in the central part of the country have been recovered, following a 4.2 magnitude earthquake that struck the area about three days ago. "Rescuers drilled through tens of meters of rock to reach them," authorities reported. El Teniente, considered the world's largest underground copper mine, is located in the Andes mountains and operated by Codelco, a company owned by Chile.
