Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bakaei addressed the bill passed in parliament prohibiting any cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), stating: "The agency must operate within its own laws, away from political pressure. The suspension of cooperation is a decision binding on the government." According to him, "It is impossible to guarantee the security of agency inspectors after the Israeli strikes." Meanwhile, Britain, Germany and France condemned the "threats against IAEA chief Rafael Grossi."
