Israel's Consul General in New York, Ofir Akonis, attacked New York City Mayor Zohran Madani following the city plan he released to combat antisemitism. According to Akonis, 'Money doesn't buy values. Until you stop the incitement and blood libels against the State of the Jews, the State of Israel which you do not recognize, antisemitism in New York City will only continue to grow.'
