Turkey's Defense Ministry announced the interception of a ballistic missile in the eastern Mediterranean that was launched from Iran and was heading toward Ankara's airspace. The missile, which crossed the airspace of Iraq and Syria, was intercepted by NATO air defense forces and missiles deployed in the eastern Mediterranean. The ministry emphasized that there were no casualties in the incident and that Turkey reserves the right to respond, adding: "We warn all parties that they must refrain from any action that could escalate conflicts in the region."
