An Israel Air Force unmanned plane on Monday evening fired a missile at a car traveling in the Jabaliya refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, killing two men and injuring four others, eyewitnesses said.
The army confirmed it had carried out a targeted assassination in Gaza.
Palestinian sources identified the men killed in the strike as Majdi Hamad and Imad Asaliya of the Salah e-Din Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees.
The army said Asaliya was responsible for Qassam rocket attacks against Israel.

The last targeted assassination carried out by the IDF goes back to May 20, when Islamic Jihad top military commander, Mohammad Dahdouh ,was killed in an air strike outside the Gaza home of Palestinian Foreign Minister Mohammad al-Zahar.
A woman, her 4-year-old son and a family relative, were killed in the attack.
A month ago, five members of the Popular Resistance Committees were killed in an air strike at a Hamas training camp in Gaza.
