The Israeli Air Force fired a missile at a group of Gunmen near the border fence in northern Gaza Monday. Palestinian sources said three gunmen have been injured in the strike and that one of them apparently sustained critical wounds.
The Israel Defense Forces struck Sunday night at the northern Gaza Strip a terror cell that was about to launch rockets at Israel's direction. Palestinian sources reported that a Hamas member was killed and two other organization members were injured in the attack, in which an army helicopter fired a missile at a group of gunmen in the Sajaiya neighborhood in east Gaza City.
The IDF has also fired artillery rounds at areas in northern and southern Gaza used for terrorist activity throughout the night.

Palestinian sources on Sunday evening reported that the Israel Air Force struck twice ,in the northern Gaza Strip and in the southern Gaza Strip town of Rafah, injuring civilians. At least five Palestinians were hurt, including an 8-year-old girl and 62-year-old Taufik Bargouta who sustained critical wounds, near the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Strip.
Earlier, a passerby was killed and several other Palestinians were wounded in an IAF strike in Rafah.
At around midnight, the Air Force fired at a weapon shed in the Gaza City's Zaitun neighborhood. There were no reports of injuries.
In the evening, the Air Force struck a car carrying Hamas members near the Jabalya refugee camp. Following the strike there was a powerful explosion, which was apparently caused by many weapons which were in the car. It is unclear whether the Palestinians were directly hurt by the missile or by the explosion that followed the strike.
The IDF said Monday in response to its operations in Gaza: "We shall continue to operate using all means against the Palestinian terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, in order to create the proper conditions for the safe retrieval of Corporal Gilad Shalit to Israel, and in a bid to put a stop to the Qassam attacks."
