Four soldiers have been injured Sunday by an antitank missile fired in the al-Tayyiba area in southern Lebanon, west of Metula.
The tank had gone in to rescue a soldier injured by earlier battles with Hizbullah members.
Four other soldiers have been injured in fire exchanges with Hizbullah members in the al-Tayibba area. Two soldiers are classed as moderately injured, while the other two are lightly injured.
One of the moderately injured soldiers may have been hit by friendly fire as a result of mistaken identity.
After the forces left Bint Jbeil, the IDF launched a second ground operation, in the eastern district, north-west of Metula. At least three terrorists have been killed. In addition, the Air Force struck a cell of two Hizbullah members.
The Nahal division has so far located a large number of arms caches including a rocket launcher, 10 RPG missiles, a canon and 18 shells, around 14 raven missiles, a sniper rifle, IDF uniforms, and a guidebook for using antitank missiles.
Nahal division forces and the 401 Armored Corps division entered the town of al-Taibeh in order to neutralize an additional Hizbullah stronghold and to take out infrastructures in the area used to fire rockets at Israel.
