The Northern District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment at the Nazareth District Court against Mohammed Abd al-Ghani, 20, from the Galilee village of Nahef, for planning an attack against soldiers in Karmiel. According to the indictment, al-Ghani pledged allegiance to ISIS and attempted to purchase a handgun. During his arrest, posters and various symbols hung in his room were seized, indicating his affiliation with and interest in the terror organization.
