VIDEO - Dozens of students rallied Monday at the Hebrew University's Mount Scopus campus in protest of the IDF's operation in Gaza .
During the demonstration, stones were hurled at a vehicle traveling near the university. The car's window was shattered, but there were no injuries.
The protestors carried Palestinian flags and wore kaffiyahs. They chanted, "We shall not kill and not die at the service of Zionism," as well as the Palestinian liberation slogan, "With our blood and soul we shall liberate Palestine."
Dozens of Hadash activists demonstrated in Haifa as well. Nidal Hayek, Hadash's representative at Haifa University, said that "the grim situation Gaza's residents are living in is proof of the State of Israel and the occupation army's aggressiveness."
Some 20 right-wing students protested on the other side of the road, in support of the IDF's activity.
Erez Tadmor, one of the right-wing protestors, told Ynet, "What you see here are Israeli Arab students studying at the State's account and receiving benefits, while supporting terror inside Israeli territories and at the Hebrew University.
"The fact that this is done in front of the police is a stain and a sign of shame for the Israel Police. The fact that the Islamic factions are freely operating at the university puts the Hebrew University to shame."

Some 100 students rallied at Haifa University, where they were faced by 70 students supporting the IDF operation and protesting the ongoing rocket fire at Sderot and Ashkelon. There were no clashes between the two groups.
Earlier Monday, dozens of young east Jerusalem residents protested in Salah al-Din Street. The demonstrators set fire to dumpsters and hurled stones at police officers. Some chanted slogans against Israel.
There were no reports of injuries, but a police car was damaged. Three residents were arrested by the police.
Also on Monday, a lecturer at the education department at the Max Stern College of Emek Yezreel complied with a female student’s request to hold a moment of silence for Palestinians killed in IDF operations in Gaza.
Students at the college protested the lecturer’s behavior, as well as the proposed moment of silence requested by the Arab student. The lecturer allowed students to hold a moment of silence for the slain Palestinians, but also noted that Jewish students can also show such solidarity with the children of Sderot, Ashkelon and Gaza vicinity communities.
