Katz condemns incitement against IDF chief: 'Red lines must not be crossed even when there are disagreements'

Defense Minister Israel Katz condemned the incitement against Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir at an anti-conscription rally in Bnei Brak, where Rabbi Arye Yazdi said, 'The cursed chief of staff, may his name and memory be erased.' Katz stated: 'I strongly condemn the severe incitement expressed against the chief of staff. The chief of staff and IDF commanders lead our fighters in all arenas in the campaign to defend the State of Israel. Any incitement against them is unacceptable, dangerous and worthy of complete condemnation. Even when there are public disagreements, red lines of incitement and harm to those who bear the heavy responsibility for the security of the state must not be crossed.'
