Soldiers fire at two Palestinians throwing molotov cocktails at vehicles near Halamish settlement

A Palestinian spotted while throwing Molotov cocktails at Israeli vehicles near the West Bank settlement of Halamish was shot dead by IDF soldiers Wednesday. Another Palestinian was injured by the troops.
The IDF said the two were throwing the firebombs at military and civilian vehicles, causing them to burst into flame. The army said that the firebombs were thrown at an IDF jeep traveling ahead of a civilian vehicle through the West Bank. The reserve soldiers in the jeep left their vehicle to pursue the Palestinian attackers.
Stones and firebombs are thrown at Israeli vehicles driving through the West Bank almost every day. Earlier Wednesday, Palestinians threw stones at an Israeli bus west of Ramallah. No injuries werereported, but the bus was damaged.
On Tuesday, Palestinians threw molotov cocktails and stones at vehicles east of Qalqilya. No injuries were reported, but a car was damaged.
Monday evening, Palestinians threw a Molotov cocktail at a vehicle near Beit Omar, southwest of Bethlehem, damaging it. Earlier in the day another vehicle was damaged by stones east of Qalqilya.
