The police updated that following protests by members of the Druze community at several junctions in the north, Highway 6 at the Elikim interchange has been blocked in both directions after tires were set on fire at the location. The police also stated that "officers from the Northern District are present at various locations to maintain public order and direct drivers to alternative routes".
