VIDEO - Hooded robbers stole a few thousand shekels on Saturday from a gas station located at the Khabia Junction in northern Israel.
Security camera footage obtained by Ynet shows two masked robbers enter the gas station's office, threaten the employees with guns and then leave with thousands of shekels.
"It was like a James Bond movie," said station manager Amir Rosenfeld, "I served in a special Nahal Brigade unit, and (the robbers) entered the station using tactics that are similar to ours."
According to Rosenfeld, a vehicle arrived at the station about 10 minutes before the incident. The employees saw the vehicle circle the station, and then continue to an area overlooking it.
"The two hooded robbers then got out of the vehicle and made their way to the office on foot," said Rosenfeld.
"Usually such robberies take place between 3 and 4 am, but this one occurred at 1 am. They weren't afraid to arrive at such an hour, when everyone is still alert," he added.
The robbery occurred during a shift change, as the employees were placing money in the safe.
Rosenfeld said employees are instructed to hand over the money in case of a robbery.
"Staying alive is the most important thing," he said, adding that a police search of the area came up empty.
