Reservist Roy Wasserstein takes his own life after 300 days of service, IDF will not recognize him as fallen soldier

|
Reserve soldier Roy Wasserstein, 24, took his life yesterday after being exposed to difficult events during his service. The IDF will not recognize him as a fallen soldier, despite having served more than 300 days, because he was not under an active reserve duty order and completed his last service in May. Roy served in an evacuation unit of the 401st Brigade, evacuating casualties and wounded. Those close to him said that Roy shared difficult experiences from his reserve service.
