The police addressed Palestinian reports of a violent riot by settlers in the West Bank village of Ausrin, stating that "police forces and investigators from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Judea and Samaria District entered the scene in the village of Ausrin accompanied by IDF forces, and began collecting findings and evidence as well as gathering testimonies for the investigation that has begun." The IDF said in parallel that forces jumped to the village area. "Upon the forces' arrival, the damage was identified and searches were conducted for the rioters, who fled before the forces arrived at the location," it was reported. "The IDF strongly condemns incidents of this type and emphasizes that they harm the defense and prevention efforts in the sector."
