The committee for selecting the Ombudsman for Public Complaints Against Judges has chosen retired Judge Asher Kula for the position. During the committee meeting, which took place in Justice Minister Yariv Levin's office, Kula was elected by a majority of 5 members. Kula previously served as Vice President of the District Court in Nof Hagalil.
