A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of sodomizing and sexually harassing a 15-year-old girl over the course of four years, Ynet reported Wednesday.
The boy was arrested in the past for suspicion of committing sex offenses against another teenage girl. The Tel Aviv Magistrates' Court has extended his remand by three days.
The girl filed a police complaint in her home town earlier this week.
According to suspicions, the boy met the girl several times at different locations, including his home and a public shelter. During these encounters he raped, beat and humiliated the girl despite her attempts to resist.
The girl had kept the attacks under wraps since she was 11-years-old, until she recently revealed them to her family.
The suspect, who was residing in a hostel until his arrest, is known to welfare services due to his problematic socio-economic background.
