Hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists have arrived in Syria's Portof Latakia ahead of setting sail to the Gaza Strip later Sunday. The sail, dubbed "Viva Palestina" means to arrive at Egypt's el-ArishPort, where the activists will use the Rafah crossing to enter Gaza.The sail is due in Gaza on Monday.
According to the sail's organizers, 380 activists from 42 countries will take part in the sail, including 40 who were on board the Marmara – the now infamous Mayflotilla's lead vessel.

"Viva Palestina" is said to be carrying over 100 vehicles and $5 million worth of medical supplies.
The flotilla plans to sail by the location of the May's flotilla raid, when the activists plan to hold a memorial service for the nine people killed onthe Marmara, and throw wreaths onto the water.
The "Viva Palestina" flotilla will also feature anti-Israeli displays, depicting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu holding a bloody butcher knife and a skeleton head of an Israeli soldier, with Palestinian children coming out of its mouth, – among others.
