A political source reiterated that the IDF's withdrawal from its positions in Gaza is conditional on Hamas's disarmament. "Regarding various publications about political progress in the Gaza Strip, Israel has reiterated and clarified that there will be no withdrawal of the IDF from the current yellow line without real disarmament of Hamas from its weapons," the source said, shortly after the Gaza 'Peace Council' published a document of principles for an agreement according to which the process of removing weapons "will be linked to a gradual Israeli withdrawal from the areas under its control."
