Netanyahu demanded from IDF chief at cabinet meeting: Stop military briefings to media

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir during a political-security cabinet meeting, ynet has learned. He demanded that Zamir "stop the military briefings to the media" which he claimed "harm cohesion and fighting spirit and are not legitimate in a democracy." Netanyahu added: "We can argue in the room, but outside we need an iron fist and a united front." Zamir did not respond.
