Preparations to receive patients from Soroka, damaged department evacuated yesterday

|
After the direct hit on Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva during the missile barrage from Iran, the Ministry of Health instructed other hospitals to prepare for receiving patients from the facility. Among others, patients are expected to be transferred to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon and Assuta in Ashdod. One of the buildings hit at Soroka was evacuated yesterday, an employee at the site said: "Luckily we evacuated one of the departments yesterday, otherwise there wouldn't be a department. The ceiling fell on us, the blast threw me. Until you experience something like this you don't believe it can happen, you can't process such a thing. Patients in the departments are being evacuated."
