U.S. President Donald Trump officially revealed the members of his "Peace Council," which is supposed to oversee the implementation of the second phase of his plan to end the war in Gaza, namely the reconstruction of the Strip and its disarmament. At the same time, he announced an additional body that will operate under the same council and above the technocratic Palestinian government already announced, which is supposed to actually manage what happens on the ground: "The Executive Council for Gaza," which will include, among others, Israeli-Cypriot real estate tycoon Yakir Gabay. These are the members of the Peace Council: Secretary of State Marco Rubio; envoy Steve Whitecroft; the President's son-in-law Jared Kushner; former British Prime Minister Tony Blair; Jewish-American billionaire Mark Rowan; World Bank President Ajay Banga; and Robert Gabriel, U.S. Deputy National Security Advisor.
