Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the decision by Britain, Australia and Canada to recognize a Palestinian state, writing: "A Palestinian state will not be established. The response to the latest attempt to impose a terror state in the heart of our country will be given after my return from the United States." The Prime Minister added that he has "a clear message to those leaders who recognize a Palestinian state after the October 7 massacre: you are giving a huge reward to terrorism. And I have another message for you: it won't happen. A Palestinian state will not be established west of the Jordan." Netanyahu also claimed that for years he has prevented the establishment of a Palestinian state, strengthened settlements in the West Bank - and will continue to do so.
