The Ayalon Freeway lanes have reopened to traffic following the cancellation of closures that were planned to continue throughout the weekend. According to the Israel Electric Corporation, the closures were canceled after infrastructure work in the Sharon region and Gush Dan area was completed earlier than expected, involving the replacement of electrical cables crossing the lanes and railway tracks in the area. The work was scheduled to stop at 4:00 p.m. and resume Saturday night from 11:00 p.m. until Sunday at 5:00 a.m.
