According to Katz, "the border villages in Lebanon, which serve as Hezbollah outposts for all intents and purposes, will be destroyed according to the Rafah and Khan Younis model in Gaza." The minister's remarks contradict what the IDF says on the matter, after the military made clear that to dismantle Hezbollah's weaponry would require conquering all of Lebanon.
