The minister wrote on his X account that during the meeting he heard Agam's story and the families' calls for help and support in securing the hostages' release. He added that he reiterated France's commitment to the immediate and unconditional release of all remaining hostages, and noted that his country "has activated all diplomatic channels, especially with mediating Arab states, to facilitate their release."
