Education Ministry following northern blast: 'Educational discussions to be held in classrooms'

|
The Education Ministry said it shares in the profound grief of the Vilensky family over the death of Elazar Yair Vilensky, a ninth-grade student at the ORT Maalot High School Yeshiva, who was killed in yesterday's unexploded ordnance blast on the northern border. "The ministry will continue to support the school community and all students and families affected by the incident, and will offer each family tailored assistance going forward, according to needs that arise and in coordination with professional authorities," the statement said. "We have instructed educational institutions to hold educational discussions in classrooms according to the developmental stage of the students, proximity to the incident and in accordance with the characteristics of the population, and to continue identifying students in circles of impact."
