|
The MKs from Degel HaTorah have officially announced their resignation from the government, after it "repeatedly violated its commitments to care for the status of holy yeshiva students dedicated to their studies," according to their statement. MK Moshe Gafni, Deputy Minister Uri Maklev, MK Yaakov Asher, MK Yitzhak Pindrus and MK Eliyahu Bruchi have now announced their resignation from the coalition - and published a joint photo of them signing resignation letters. Among other implications, this means MK Gafni will leave his position as chairman of the Finance Committee.
