"What Benjamin Netanyahu's government is doing today (in Gaza) is unacceptable," Emmanuel Macron said Tuesday, adding that "it is not up to a president of the Republic to say 'This is a genocide,' but rather to historians." The French president recalled during an interview on TF1 that he had been "one of the only leaders to go to the border" between Egypt and Gaza, "one of the worst things that (he) had ever seen," deploring that "all the aid that France and other countries deliver" is "blocked by the Israelis." The President of the Republic also considered that the question of a revision of the "cooperation agreements" between the EU and Israel was "open."
