Michel Iluz, father of hostage Guy Iluz, said in a statement alongside other hostage families that "there is an opportunity to make a deal now. I hope the prime minister understands the magnitude of the hour and the will of all those amazing citizens who are mobilizing day by day to end this saga and return all the hostages. We, the families and this amazing nation, will not allow another deal like the previous one from half a year ago to happen again. There will not be a situation where they deceive us again, where someone tries to buy time and string us families along for another half year. We will not abandon the ten hostages to remain and rot behind."
