Dozens of people, including Ran Gwaili's friends from the YASAM unit where he served, are accompanying his coffin in Israeli territory in a convoy making its way to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute. Many citizens gathered at Nahal Oz square to pay their respects. Before the convoy departed from Nahal Oz, Ran's father, Itzik, was recorded speaking with IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir.
