Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara addressed the High Court's ruling on the petitions against the appointment of Roman Gofman as head of the Mossad, stating in a release that "our position was rejected by the court, and it goes without saying that we respect the court's ruling." The statement also noted that "the legal counsel to the government and the Attorney General personally will assist as required and as possible to Aluf Gofman in carrying out his important role as head of the Mossad. We wish Aluf Gofman great success in his position."
