A correspondent for Qatari network Al Jazeera reported, citing an Iranian source, that Tehran officially received the U.S. response, which "completely rejects" the proposal submitted by the Islamic Republic as part of the negotiations. According to the report, Iran included five conditions that must be met before entering nuclear negotiations: an end to the war on all fronts; removal of all sanctions; release of frozen assets; compensation for war damages and losses; and recognition of Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
