Michel Illouz, father of Guy Illouz who was murdered on October 7 and whose body is in Gaza, spoke at a rally in Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, addressing the possibility of a partial deal: "Will Guychuk be one of the five fallen soldiers returned after a week? Will he even be part of the current half-deal? And does this sound logical to anyone here? What kind of crazy, sick and inhumane movie are we forced to live in?" According to him, "What an inhuman reality, to cross fingers for a deal where only half of our brothers will return, and the others will have to watch their friends being released while they are not."
