Border Police and the Shin Bet arrested Sultan Abu al-Hijja, a 31-year-old resident of Tamra, on suspicion of multiple security offenses. According to the allegations, Abu al-Hijja contacted the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, several times with the aim of secretly assisting them. During his interrogation, it was also revealed that he established contact with Iranian intelligence operatives but did not manage to carry out missions for them before his arrest. During the morning, the Haifa District Attorney's Office will file an indictment against him at the district court in the city.
