Israel Bar Association President Amit Bechar responded on his X account to Defense Minister Israel Katz's announcement prohibiting the Military Advocate General's participation in the Bar Association conference. He wrote: 'I suggest the Defense Minister focus on security, hostage release, equal service burden and reservists, rather than PR announcements for primary elections.' He added that 'the Defense Minister is part of a government systematically boycotting the entire justice system and dismantling state institutions, so we remain undeterred and continue our struggle resolutely.'
